Our Veterinarians

Our staff at Salt Creek Veterinary Hospital includes a talented team of veterinary professionals.

Keelan Yoder, DVM

Dr. Keelan grew up on a century old family farm in Bowie Texas. She received her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University in Animal Science and Rangeland Management in 2007 and attended Virginia Tech for her doctorate, graduating in 2011. She serves as majority owner and CFO of Salt Creek Veterinary Hospital, PLLC. She proudly serves on the Archer County Show board and loves supporting youth introduction into agriculture. She lives in Windthorst with her husband, Ryan Yoder, who is owner and operator of RY Ag, a custom agricultural spray business. Their four children, Cason, Kye, Kori, and Phifer are active in sports and showing livestock.

Brittany Berry, DVM

Dr. Brittany grew up in Allen, Texas, and now resides in Albany with her husband Tyler, their son Henderson Walker, and a small family of three cats and two dogs. Dr. Brittany pursued her passion for animal care by completing her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Texas Tech and earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. She is part-owner of Salt Creek and lead veterinarian at the Anson, Albany, and Breckenridge locations, a role she has held for seven years. Her expertise spans education, beef cattle production medicine, and small animal internal medicine, allowing her to serve a broad range of needs within her community. Dr. Brittany lives by the verses of Colossians 3:23-24, bringing dedication and compassion to her work every day.

Katlynn Davison, DVM

Dr. Katlynn was born in the panhandle of Texas and currently lives in Olney. She received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and her DVM from Texas A&M University. Dr. Katlynn joined Salt Creek Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2022. She enjoys working with both large and small animals and has a special interest in small animal internal medicine and intensive care. Dr. Katlynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Jed, their baby girl, Adaline. They have two cats, Benji and Gracie, their dog, Wolf, and her horse, R.B. She enjoys a variety of activities including home renovation, woodworking, traveling, hiking, and camping.

Rebecca Smajstrla, DVM

Dr. Rebecca has lived in Longview, Texas since she was 9 years old. She attended Texas A&M University for both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. She has been practicing as an associate veterinarian since 2022. Her special interest lies in bovine reproductive services and is certified in artificial insemination. Outside of work, Dr. Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, John, their children, Eli and Elouise, and their dog, Wallace. They particularly enjoy camping, hiking, and gardening.

Stepfanie George, DVM, MPH

Dr. George is originally from Rhode Island, but she couldn’t get to Texas fast enough! She graduated from the University of Missouri with both her veterinary and public health degrees in 2022, and has been with Salt Creek since May of 2024. Professionally, Dr. George enjoys herd health, surgery, and small animal nutrition. Outside of work, Dr. George and her husband James are working on remodeling their new home in Albany, and keeping up with their many pets: 2 horses, 2 dogs, a cat, and a ferret!

Morgan Hilton, BVetMed

Dr. Morgan was born in Copper Canyon, Texas, and currently resides in Windthorst. She received her bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College. Dr. Morgan has been practicing veterinary medicine for 4 years and joined Salt Creek Veterinary Hospital as an associate veterinarian in July 2024. She developed her expertise in equine medicine through an equine internship and subsequent work at equine hospitals. Outside of work, Dr. Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, their dogs, Lola and Zulu, and her horse, T.O. She grew up training and competing horses in both hunter/jumpers and eventing, which sparked her initial interest in veterinary medicine.

Madisson Wiggins, DVM

Dr. Madisson Wiggins is a native of Euless, Tx. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine there as well. Since 2021, she has been practicing as an associate mixed animal veterinarian, she joined Salt Creek in April 2025. Her passion for large animal care and rural veterinary medicine was sparked during time spent on her grandparents’ ranch. Dr. Wiggins is dedicated to the well-being of animals of all sizes and loves the variety her work brings. At home, she enjoys the company of her beloved pets: three dogs, Ruby, June, & Moose, two cats: Poppy & Finn, and one horse, Bindi. In her free time, Dr. Wiggins enjoys traveling, running, and spending quality time with her family—especially her two nieces.

Kenzie Salzmann, DVM

Dr. Kenzie Salzmann is from the Texas Hill Country and earned her Animal Science degree from Texas A&M University. After college, she moved to West Texas, where she developed a strong connection to the people and pace of rural life. She earned her veterinary degree from Texas Tech University as part of the inaugural class and joined Salt Creek Veterinary Hospital in June 2025.

Dr. Kenzie enjoys small animal surgery and building relationships with both pets and their people. She now lives in Anson with her husband, Ty, and their two dogs, Auggie and Heidi. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling abroad, and working on home projects with Ty.
